SCHOOL DAYS
Oh, my heart is rather jumpy
As the days are movin’ on,
An’ exams are bearing down upon my mind.
But however that may be,
I’ll be absolutely free
When the school bell rings for the last time!
Oh, my term paper’s due.
An’ I’m worried almost stiff ---
Final exams arrive in one more day.
But however that may seem,
I am living in a dream,
For you see good ole vacation’s on the way!
Oh, commencement day is comin’,
An’ you bet I’m awful glad,
An’ I can’t be kept in after school any more.
But with all that has been said,
I will gladly look ahead,
For my sophomore year will soon be o’er.
